Subway Surfers Hawaii
Subway Surfers Hawaii is a bright, feel-good special edition of the hit endless runner Subway Surfers, created by Kiloo and SYBO Games. It’s part of the “World Tour” series, where the game switches up locations—and this time, it drops you right into a laid-back, tropical version of Hawaii. Honestly, it feels like a mini vacation every time I play.

Setting & Theme
In Subway Surfers Hawaii, everything is built around sunny island vibes. What I notice right away is how relaxing it feels compared to other versions. You will see:
In this version, you'll encounter the long rows of palm trees and the characteristic white sandy beaches of Hawaii.
The blue of the distant ocean creates a sense of tranquility.
Surfboards and fun tiki-style decorations add to the lively summer atmosphere.
Even the train tracks look different—they are combined with tropical elements, making the entire journey feel fresh instead of boring. It’s one of those versions I keep coming back to when I want something chill.
Characters & Boards
This edition brings in some really fun, themed content that I actually enjoy collecting:
Limited-time characters dressed in beachwear or island-style outfits
Hoverboards that look like surfboards (these are my favorite)
Smooth animations and effects that match the tropical theme
Unlocking these during the event feels rewarding, especially since they’re only available for a short time.
Gameplay
The gameplay itself doesn’t change—and that’s a good thing. It’s still the fast-paced, addictive style that makes Subway Surfers so fun:
Running endlessly along train tracks.
Dodging trains and obstacles.
Grabbing coins and power-ups.
Trying not to get caught by the inspector and his dog.
That said, the Hawaii version adds just enough visual variety and special missions to keep it interesting. For me, it makes long play sessions feel less repetitive.
Basic Controls on PC
Here’s what you’ll typically use:
← Left Arrow → Move left
→ Right Arrow → Move right
↑ Up Arrow → Jump
↓ Down Arrow → Roll/slide
Events & Rewards
One thing I really like about this update is the events. In the Hawaii version, you often receive special quests, and after completing them, you'll receive valuable rewards such as coins, skateboards, or unlock new characters.
Why Players Like It
This version gives players a relaxing feeling with its lively and vibrant tropical atmosphere. In addition, its bright and distinctive visuals also make a good impression on players.
