Practical Gameplay Tips
Always stay in the middle of the track
Standing in the middle lane makes it easier to react when trains or obstacles appear unexpectedly. From this position, you can quickly move left or right without getting into a difficult situation.
Don't swipe too much
Many new players tend to swipe continuously when speed increases, which can easily cause the character to crash into trains. Stay calm and only move when necessary.
Use the Hoverboard at the right time
The Hoverboard is like a "backup life". Instead of using it at the beginning of the game, save it for when:
- The speed is already very fast
- Many trains appear continuously
- You are trying to break a score record
- Prioritize picking up Coin Magnets
Coin Magnets are one of the most useful items because they automatically attract coins without requiring much movement. This helps you earn coins faster and reduces the risk of collisions.
Remember the obstacle patterns
After playing for a while, you will notice many train sections and barriers appear in familiar patterns. Remembering these locations will help you react much faster.
Avoid jumping continuously
Jumping too much can easily cause you to lose control when landing. In many cases, sliding under obstacles is safer than jumping.
Complete daily tasks
Daily tasks reward:
- Coins
- Keys
- Mystery Boxes
- Higher multiplier points
The higher the multiplier, the faster your score increases.
Upgrade Support Items
Prioritize upgrading:
- Jetpack
- Coin Magnet
- Super Sneakers
These upgrades extend item usage time and make achieving high scores easier.
Collect Keys Carefully
Don't use keys constantly to respawn. Save them for times when you have very high scores or are close to completing difficult missions.
So Popular with the Community That It Returns
Due to overwhelmingly positive player feedback, SYBO brought back the Berlin version for the 2021 World Tour event. This demonstrates the map's popularity within the Subway Surfers community.
